Victoria has been in the horticulture industry for over nine years. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Plant Genetics and Masters of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida. She has worked in greenhouses and laboratories around the world, including in Italy, Belgium, Florida and Colorado. Her research has been based upon plant breeding, tissue culture, and greenhouse production. Victoria has worked and lived in the wild and fast paced hemp industry for the past several years. Based in Colorado, Victoria got her feet into the cannabis industry by working at a hemp tissue culture lab and later co-founded Colorado Hemp Connection, a premium young plant provider for growers in Colorado and surrounding states. Today, she leads Alterra and works with our world class breeding partners to ensure Alterra provides the best genetics in the industry.
Cameron Wylde

Cameron Wylde

COO & Founder
Cameron is a Mechanical Engineer with a background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing design for industrial scale buildings. He handles the logistics and daily operations of Alterra. Cameron has a true passion for utilizing design engineering to invent and implement efficient systems for every step in the supply chain. Cameron is based in Colorado and co-founded Colorado Hemp Connection, a premium young plant provider for growers in Colorado and surrounding states. Cameron has a wide depth of knowledge about cannabis and a holistic, in depth view of the hemp industry. He has walked more hemp fields than he can count and works with farmers to build and improve strategies for success in the hemp industry. With his detail oriented approach, Cameron ensures Alterra’s production schedules are on track so our growers have a seamless start to their season!
David “Whit” Whitney

David “Whit” Whitney

National Sales Director & Advisor
Whit serves on the Advisory Board of Alterra where he is also National Sales Director. Whit brings 35+ years of experience in company organization, sales management, business development, finance, and leadership. Whit has been successful at building and scaling companies through his customer centric approach and impeccable attention to detail. Before joining Alterra, Whit was a professor at the University of Florida and taught graduate and undergraduate courses at the College of Engineering on a range of topics including innovation and entrepreneurship. Whit has also worked in several industries including healthcare, finance, and investment banking. With his advanced business acumen, Whit serves in an advisory role in conjunction with directing farmer relations nationwide at Alterra.

Vice President of Operations
Ernie has come out of an early retirement after selling a highly successful automotive business he owned and operated for 37 years to a global automotive retailer and manufacturer. Under his stewardship, he grew this business from one location and ten employees to four locations and 50 employees. During his ownership, Ernie created a thriving family business in a highly competitive industry. He accredits his success to a simple motto, “Put the customer first.” At Alterra, Ernie does just that. He works to ensure shipments and orders run smoothly and that our farmers are satisfied. Ernie understands the inner workings of businesses and how important it is to have reliable, efficient, and honest suppliers to help you succeed.
Camerron Waldrop

Camerron Waldrop

Sales Executive & Advisor
Camerron is an eighth-generation Oregonian with deep roots in cannabis culture and the burgeoning cannabis industry. With over 14 years of experience working with cannabis, from the remote hills of Humboldt County to the fertile soils of the Willamette Valley, he has done everything from trimming flower, to cannabinoid extraction, to farming over 10 acres of high-CBD hemp. Through all of this, Camerron always dreamed of the comeback that he knew Industrial Hemp would make as a legal and viable crop for American farmers. Calling Eugene, OR, home since he moved there in 2005 to attend Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon, his network is far-reaching in the Pacific Northwest and includes some of the early pioneers of the cannabis and hemp industries. With his wealth of knowledge, Camerron now works with Alterra to provide clones, seedlings, and seed to the flourishing hemp industry in the Pacific Northwest.
Kevin Edwards

Kevin Edwards

Sales Executive & Advisor
Kevin is originally from Albuquerque, NM, and brings over 14 years of leadership experience to the team with previous roles in organizations including the US Army Reserves and Verizon Wireless. Kevin has studied entrepreneurship, graphic design, and web application development, which has lead to a passion for working with startup businesses in rapid growth industries. He has managed operations in craft beer, medical cannabis, and industrial hemp including outdoor cultivation, harvest operations, product development, and marketing. With Alterra, Kevin works with farmers and growers in the Southwest to ensure they are growing optimized genetics, have streamlined plantings, and a successful season!
